Q: What if I haven't been out of school for one whole year?
A: Sometimes exceptions can be made, please contact the school to discuss this.

Q: Is tuition really free?
A: Yes, tuition is free for all learners 18 and over who have not already received their high school graduation diploma. However an educational fee of $50.00 per semester must be paid by all students.

Q: What if you already have your diploma but you want to upgrade for university is there a tuition fee?
A: Yes, if you are 21 or older and wish to upgrade there is a per credit fee of $250.00 for regular courses and $500.00 for courses taken through the virtual high school.

Q: What if I am almost 18 can I still apply?
A: Applications are reviewed on a case by case basis taking into consideration what is best for each learner. Please contact the school to discuss this.

Q: Can I go part time and still work?
A: Classes follow regular school hours, Monday to Friday. You may attend part time if class scheduling permits. Please contact the school for more information.

Q: Is there funding to help me support myself while going to school.
A: There is funding available for qualifying applicants. Please contact your local career resource centre or community services for more information.

Q: I did finish some high school courses but that was 20 years ago… do I have to start all over again?
A: When you bring us your high school transcript we will discuss with you the credits you have and the remaining ones that you need to graduate.

Q: The high school I attended over 30 years ago is now a middle school, how can I get my school transcript?
A: Contact the school board to see where these records are available 1-800-770-0008.

Q: What is the CAAT test?
A: The CAAT (Canadian Adult Achievement Test) is used to measure applicant's ability in reading comprehension and basic math skills to help determine the individual learner's needs.
